Kids Camp is our program focused on letting kids have hands-on experience in the vineyard. We aim to encourage an understanding and appreciation for viticulture, the environment and agriculture in general. Participation is free of charge.
The program has events from May thru October. Each time the participants can see how the vineyard evolves through the growing season and learn basic practices for vine management. There are also fun and interactive activities for the kids to observe and engage with nature and the unique ecosystem of the vineyard.
The scheduled activities will be about an hour, but we encourage you to stick around to play, have fun, and relax in the vineyard for as long as you like.
Tentative Schedule
(In case of bad weather, dates will be postponed one week)
- May 2 – prune vines
- June 20 – select buds
- August 1-2 – camp overnight
- September 12– defoliate around clusters
- October 17– harvest and crush at the winery
